This work serves as the front and back cover of a doctoral thesis that addresses the development of a civic and tax education program and a culture of peace within the Colombian university context. It is a tool that contributes to reducing radicalism and fostering the development of society in all its dimensions.
In this illustration, I use the nest as a visual symbol of home and growth, and I incorporate emeralds—one of Colombia’s national treasures—as a reference to the value of the nation. On the right, the blue bird allegorically provides knowledge, tools, and peace, containing violence, which is represented by the fierce figure of the condor, Colombia’s national bird.
